About Andrea

Iā€™m fascinated with the culinary world ā€“ a true feast for the senses, rich in opportunities to explore other cultures and food origins. Growing my own herbs and vegetables over the years allowed me to appreciate the importance of quality basic ingredients in my own cooking, and started my exploration into how and why certain classic dishes evolved in different places.

From an early age, my fine arts background in drawing, painting and sculpture gave me an eye for color, light, shadow and composition that translated seamlessly into food and travel photography. Different ways of cooking and presenting food, and its cultural significance is what I hope to document and share with others.

Paul S. Bartholomew

About Paul

The son of a 3rd generation steelworker, Paul was raised in the countryside near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and was influenced by the local surroundings and culture. With an appreciation for still life and historic structures, he found himself articulating his observations with drawings and paintings but didn’t pursue photography until he attended Lehigh University. During Paul’s studies, he was introduced to photography and the many possibilities the medium offers from fine art to commercial. He later finished his BFA from Kutztown University and found his niche photographing food and interior design.

Paul’s approach is to interpret his subject with refined composition and lighting to reflect more than documentation but a selective view that shows the feeling and impact of a scene. He feels that the works of culinary artists and designers are an inspiration worthy of recognition and remembrance that should be captured and preserved with integrity. He is fortunate to work with many talented people and has been published internationally, gaining exposure for both himself and his clients.
