25 Feb, 2013 – A record 72,000 runners take part in the 17th Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon.

The theme ‘Run for a Reason’ has been introduced to 9 Standard Chartered Marathons around the world including Hong Kong’s. Every runner in the Standard Chartered Marathons has their own personal motivation or reason for participating. We believe that this theme will resonate with our 260,000 runners from around the globe, including 72,000 from Hong Kong, and their supporters, and will help to inspire each runner to the finish line and to ultimately reach their goals.
