SXSW knows how to throw a party and, when you add HBO, Mondo and the Alamo Drafthouse, things can only improve dramatically.
This year, Mondo is releasing new Game Of Thrones posters and they’ve revealed two so far during their gallery event for the kick off of SXSW. They’ll be revealing 2 more each week until the March 31st GoT premiere.
The gallery opening will also debut the new Game of Thrones beer Iron Throne. Want to know what Iron Throne tastes like? Mondo’s CEO says “a delicate, but piercing Golden Blonde Ale with Noble hops, a nod to having a Lannister currently on the Throne.”
I need to get on a plane.

One reason to watch movies at home instead of in the theater is so that you can rudely talk over the dialogue without disrupting total strangers. If it’s a movie you’ve seen repeatedly, you probably act just like the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Thusly, you need this giant 70″ decal to put behind your couch.
Apparently, this decal can even be applied to cars.

Artists who open the list to commissions probably get a lot of wacky requests. Illustrator Brandon Bird received one to paint a 36″ x 24″ rendition of “The Last Supper” featuring 11 James Woodses and one RoboCop. Because why not?

You don’t technically need dice to play this game, but dice make everything more fun! You’ll get seven different colored dice with one of the five choices on each side (and one roll again side). The rules are even printed on the little velvet bag so you don’t have to remember them, but if you can recite them just like Sheldon you should probably win whatever argument made you break out the game in the first place.
