Downtown’s newest restaurant, Born in a Barn, offering 16 varieties of chicken wings, 10 specialty burgers and bottled domestic and imported beers, will open this month. Located at 100 E. Ivinson Ave., Born in a Barn quickly jumped at the opportunity to have a downtown location after Luciano’s left to remodel the former “Wingers” restaurant on east Grand.

2012 was another phenomenal year for downtown Laramie. According to the Reinvestment Stats for Certified Main Street Programs in Wyoming (Buffalo, Dubois, Evanston, Green River, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs and Sheridan) compiled by the Wyoming Mainstreet program, downtown Laramie lead the way in renovation projects, public improvements, net job gain and net business gains.
