The purpose of Georgia Southern's licensing program is to protect and enhance the University's brand identity by ensuring that only licensed and approved products display the University's trademarks. The program is responsible for determining if a product and design are consistent with the goals and images of the University, and to ensure the quality, liability, production, and distribution of products meet the University's standards. Additionally, the program enables the University to share in the benefits derived from the commercial use of the trademarks.

Georgia Southern University trademarks are the property of Georgia Southern University and the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
