As well as offering an environment that encourages a love of learning and celebrates the diversity of its community, Dartmouth College provides its faculty and staff with a comprehensive benefits and compensation package.

At Dartmouth, you have the opportunity to make the health and retirement plan choices that are right for you. The College offers three different health plan choices covering medical needs ranging from catastrophic expenses to preventive and routine care. You can elect the Indemnity plan; Preferred Blue, a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan; or Blue Choice (POS), a Point of Service managed care plan. All plans are administered by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire. Same-sex domestic partners of benefit-eligible employees are also eligible for medical plan coverage and other benefits.

Some of the many programs available at the College include dental and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and fitness reimbursement.

In addition to paid time off, including eight holidays, the College offers an extended Winter Break between Christmas and New Year’s Day. All regular staff are eligible for these paid "break days”.
