The description of the item made me decide on it and I absolutely agree - it's stunning! Everyone has something to say about it - it's become, for a while, the talking piece of our room, and the knight is the main focus of the comments, which so far are all admiring. The board is just as good. Thank you for the phone call to check everything was all right and for taking the time to arrange the delivery to our house which is quite difficult to find.

I bought the King Charles set of chess pieces in Rosewood and the B2009 board to go with it for my husband as a Christmas present. I researched many internet sites both in the UK and US and would say Chessbaron stands head and shoulders above the rest not only in the vastly superior quality and huge range of chess they offer, but in their knowledge and obvious love for any sets you sell. The King Charles and board can only be described as stunning, with intricate carving and beautiful weighted feel it is a work of art. I spend more time staring at its beauty than actually concentrating on my game, (the board is also beautifully made and worth every penny)! I have been credited with buying my husband his best ever Christmas present! I am sure many of the other sets are equally as beautiful (I had a hard time choosing but the unique photos on the website help tremendously) and am sure no one would be disappointed with any one of them. Customer service is second to none and I really cannot fault my experience with you.
