Don’t Link To Blacklisted Sites, Mate
Australia’s Australian Communications and Media Authority has warned websites that linking to banned sites will face a fine of A$11,000 a day. This comes after online forum Whirlpool is slapped with the same warning after posting a link to an outlawed website.
Does this refer only to Australian websites? Websites with .au? Websites hosted in Australia? Websites run by Australians? Websites accessed in Australia? Lots of questions out there.
