Uploading files to Disk

• Uploading files from the web interface
• Uploading from iPhone and Android devices
• Uploading files using the "Yandex.Disk" computer application
• Copying files from others

The maximum file size on Disk is 10 GB.

To upload files larger than 2 GB, use the "Yandex.Disk" application (for Windows or for Mac OS) or the WebDAV client. Browsers are not designed to handle files of this size.

Uploading files from the web interface

1. Go to the Disk page.
2. Click Upload.
3. Then either drag the files to the page or select them by clicking Select files.

You can only drag files directly onto the screen if you have Adobe Flash Player enabled.

Uploading from iPhone and Android devices

The Yandex.Disk mobile apps let you upload files from your phone as well as take and save photos directly to Disk.

!Uploading with iPhone

1. Open the folder to which you would like to upload a file and tap .	2. You will then be asked whether you would like to upload a file from your Camera Roll, take a new photo or create a folder.	3. To upload photos from your Camera Roll, you'll first need to select the album. Then choose the photos and tap Done.

!Uploading from Android

1. Open the folder to upload files to and tap .	2. You will then be asked to select an existing files, take a photograph or create a new folder.

Uploading files using the "Yandex.Disk" computer application

Install the "Yandex.Disk" application and copy any files you wish to upload to the folder created by the program.

All files and folders placed in the Yandex.Disk folder will be automatically uploaded to Disk (synced). You can find more information about using the "Yandex.Disk" application in the sections Windows application and Mac OS X application.

Copying files from others

You can copy files from other Disk users to your account. Simply follow the link and click Save to Yandex.Disk. The file will be transferred to your Downloads folder on Yandex.Disk.

If the Save to Yandex.Disk button is grayed out, please make sure that you are logged in and that you have activated Disk. Try opening the web interface to check.
