1.11 progress:

* Selectmenu: Plenty bug fixes landed recently. New PR for ARIA needs testing, Felix will check Windows screenreaders soon: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/pull/931
* Menubar: Big PR from @sgharms, pinged him to fix a few more keyboard handling issues: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/pull/829
* Button: Afaik we didn't post the redesign, yet. I have no idea where our notes for that are. I don't see anything in this wiki either.
* Effects: I have no idea about their status. Are Mike and Petro still working on them?
* Classes option: Open PR that we've been ignoring for five months: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/pull/790 - since that only changes tabs, it still applies without merge conflicts.
* New demo system: I don't think we made any progress on this since launching the redesigned jqueryui.com. This seems like something we should put some heads together to generate ideas. Or just extract them from Scott's brain.

In addition, not covered here, there's a few things that came up from the Toronto UI team meeting:
* initialization-free widgets - Scott wants to prototype this
* special-events implementation of pointer events, to be used for interactions. Kris wants to prototype this
* AMD support: To be discussed with requiresjs people. Prototyping on hold until grunt migration to 0.4 is done (or even more?)
* Move build logic out of grunt (to where?). Needs discussion between Rafael, Scott and Jörn - I still don't know the background of this one.

Also not covered here: The grunt 0.4 migration took a lot of effort. I'm still working on getting the options we need into grunt-contrib-cssmin, so that I can drop my grunt-css plugin. grunt-contrib-csslint is already done and does the same thing as my csslint task from grunt-css did.
