Fluid: Growl notifications and more
Deadline supports Fluid for Mac OS X. This allows you to:
- Launch Deadline from the Dock
- Get dock badge updates for the number of deadlines that are currently marked as "Now"
- Get growl notifications of your reminders
Setup
To set up Fluid for Deadline with a nice dock icon, follow these steps:
- Install and run Fluid
- Enter deadlineapp.com in the URL field and Deadline as the name
- Right click the following link and save it to your Desktop (you can delete it when you're done): dock-icon.png
- Select Icon, Other, and then select the file you just downloaded (dock-icon.png)
- Click Create
You can now copy your Deadline fluid app to your Applications folder and drag its icon to the dock.
