(Important March Madness Gender Reveal Party Information Below!)

It's been a while since I've updated my website--thank you for being patient with me! I have news regarding the month-long romance novel extravaganza I've hosted in the past called March Madness.
As many of you know, my mother-in-law passed away after a long battle against COPD right before Christmas. In past years, I've started planning March Madness in October. With hosting multiple authors and bloggers each day, it takes a lot of time to coordinate invitations, schedules, interviews, and giveaways for all my guests! However, as my MIL started going downhill in October, I was not able to tackle the event responsibilities as I normally would--everything but family took a backseat.
I'm sad to tell you that I won't be hosting a regular event as I've done the past two years for 2013, but I hope you'll indulge me in celebrating some GOOD news with me instead. We're pregnant again with #3! We'll be going to the anatomy scan appointment sometime in late March, and I'll be announcing the gender to the world on April 1st (no April Fools' jokes, I swear! ;) ).
So please consider this announcement as your invitation to the Elise Rome virtual gender reveal party, from March 1st-March 31st! =) I'm giving away books every Sunday and Wednesday in March, and will also be giving away THREE Grand Prizes (you know, to celebrate #3) on April 1st, when the announcement is made.
Here's some info you need to know:
1) All books are print books and come from my personal collection.
2) Most books are new and never-been-read, but some are gently used, including a few ARCs. Some are even signed generally, but some are signed to me. While the majority of these are historical romances, contemporary, paranormal, YA, and inspirational are also included.
3) All giveaways are open to international residents as well as US residents. All packages will be mailed bulk rate. (If you are an international resident and win, please note that the package might take a couple of weeks or longer to get to you.)
4) If you win one of the regular Sunday or Wednesday giveaways, you are not eligible to win another of these giveaways, although you are still eligible to enter for one of the three Grand Prize giveaways.
5) Beginning March 1st, I will post a question on the tab titled "Gender Reveal Party" on my website. Simply comment in answer to my question, and the day after the scheduled giveaway, I'll announce the randomly selected winner on the Winners tab. (Please note that only one comment per giveaway will be considered; please do not comment more than once per giveaway.) These will NOT be difficult questions--I have pregnancy brain after all, lol.
6) The same day that I announce a winner for the past giveaway, I'll post the question for the next giveaway.
7) I will post a special one-day question on March 31st; you will have until midnight US MST time to answer the question. All who answer the question will be eligible to win one of the three Grand Prizes. Surprise: if the randomly selected winners correctly guess boy or girl along with their answer, a special bonus will be added to their package of books. =)

If you are new to me and my website, welcome! I'm so glad to have you stop by! You can find the first two chapters of my upcoming Victorian romance novel, THE SINNING HOUR, here.
Readers who know me or who already know about THE SINNING HOUR know that it's been a long time in coming. When I first announced THE SINNING HOUR, I was planning on making it a novella, an introduction to the Unmasked series. Then, however, as I worked more closely with the characters and learned more about their background, I realized that I wanted to do full justice to their romance and turn THE SINNING HOUR into a novel. Like you, I'm a romance reader, too, and I realized I just had to write the parts of the story that included how they met and how they fell in love--some of the best parts of any romance!
Even with that change, I should have been able to publish THE SINNING HOUR earlier this year. However, although it hasn't been the ideal, I've had to put my writing on the back burner many times this year as I deal with multiple family issues. Some of these issues are ongoing (*hugs* to those of you who also have or have had a very sick loved one in your family), but I try to devote as much time as possible to the book when I can. I can't go into details for personal reasons, but I just wanted to give you a better idea of why it's taking so long, because you've been so terribly patient with me, and I so appreciate it.
For those of you who continue to gently nudge me and tell me how much you're looking forward to reading more of my books--THANK YOU! It means so much to me. Although I'm not going to give a specific date for the release of THE SINNING HOUR until I'm absolutely sure (I feel anything else would be cruel at this point), I promise that as soon as I know, you'll know, too.
Finally, for those of you who have won a digital copy of THE SINNING HOUR through the various posts and giveaways I've done this past year, please know that I am so thankful for your patience, too. I plan on sending the book to you at least a week before it is published for everyone else, as a way of expressing my gratitude.
