Asger Carlsen (b.1973) is a Danish artist based in NYC.
Asger Carlsen’s critically acclaimed book entitled Wrong was published in 2010 by Morel Books in London. His next book, Hester, has just been released, also by Morel. In 2012 Asger exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, Aalborg as part of ‘Masterpieces From Danish Private Collection’, with Morel at No Found, Paris, at The Hole Gallery, NYC, with Dittrich & Schlechtriem at Art Platform LA, and at The Vice Annual Exhibition which toured in NYC, Sydney, Vancover, Montreal and Toronto. Asger has created alternative reality or surrealist influenced concepts for both editorial and brand advertising projects and collaborations.
