Event Calendar
Continuing Studies is pleased to offer the community more than forty free or inexpensive public programs and special events every year. Events include evening readings, lectures, and performances as well as weekend workshops and symposia, and cover a broad range of subject areas from current events to the creative arts.
Many programs are co-sponsored by Stanford academic programs and departments, such as the series "Understanding Buddhist Art," "Medieval Matters," and "Stanford Summer Theater." Others acknowledge major historical anniversaries, such as recent programs on Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Johannes Brahms, Abraham Lincoln, Charles Darwin, and William Saroyan.
Registration is required for paid events. See our How to Register page for more information.
