Social Events

spacer Our conference social events are excellent networking opportunities; delegates and speakers get together at good venues and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The social events have become integral to J. Boye conferences:

One of the things that sets J. Boye conferences apart is the special social events organized each evening where attendees and speakers have quality, face-to-face time

- Jane McConnell, NetStrategy/JMC

Most of the social events are included in the conference attendance fee (all except the farewell dinner). Just remember to register your attendance at the respective events.

Monday: Jetlag Reception

May 2nd, 6pm

The Jetlag reception is an informal get-together open for those who have arrived early; some classic Italian food with a glass of wine or beer.

A good opportunity to meet peers and some of the speakers and kick the week off Italian-style.

Venue: Il Portico, 1519 Walnut Street

spacer Tuesday: Food, networking and bowling evening

May 3rd, 6.30pm

Informal, fun evening event: food, drinks and bowling. Even if you are not a big bowler, pls. feel free to join and network with the other delegates.

At this social event, Alfred Kuffler, the Honorary Danish Consul in Pennsylvania (and recognized as one of the best lawyers in America!) will attend and welcome us all to Philadelphia.

Venue: Lucky Strike, 1336 Chestnut St.

Wednesday: J. Boye Conference Party

spacer May 4th, 6.30pm

All delegates, speakers and sponsors are  invited. This is normally quite a popular evening!

This year’s party venue  will be the historic Down Town Club on 6th & Chestnut.

This evening is kindly hosted by Kentico.

In 2009 and 2010 we enjoyed a stylish evening dinner onboard the historic Moshulu at Penn’s Landing. Food, wine and networking in stunning surroundings.

Thursday: Farewell Dinner

May 5th, 6.30pm

Those still around and with some energy left are invited for one final, nice post-conference dinner.

You’ll get a chance to talk with the exhibitors, colleagues, and other delegates over a glass (or two!) of wine or beer before leaving Philadelphia.

Venue: Elephant & Castle, 1800 Market Street (right next to the conference hotel)

Please note that this evening is self-paid.
