for riders offers clothing, accessories and beautiful objects for horse lovers. over a period of two years we have developed an e-commerce website (ivriders.com), designed product labelling, provided studio photography and designed various promotional and business materials.
oxtalk is a charity providing ‘talking newspapers’ to blind and visually impaired people around oxford. when they approached us they were still using cassette tapes, but knew they would need to switch to digital media in the near future. we designed their new logo and built oxtalk.org.uk to the highest standards of accessibility – it was unanimously approved by their network members. we now apply this level of accessibility to all our sites as a matter of course. we recently added the functionality for the ‘listen online’ feature, so members can now subscribe to the rss feed (podcast) for the latest edition, or listen to any edition from the archive.
for over two years we have supported this amazing woman and her incredible dream to row solo across the indian ocean. we provided web design (sarahouten.co.uk), portrait photography and publicity materials such as business cards and sponsorship packs. we hope to be on the beach to greet her when she arrives in mauritius at the end of her journey! the website is very active and dynamic to encourage visitors to return regularly: sarah constantly blogs, adds new photos to the gallery and keeps a record of her fundraising achievements.
our brief for this job was to make a plumber’s website that looked nothing like all the other plumbers’ websites! so we came up with a clean, fresh, spacious design which you can see at aqueco.co.uk. every page has a ‘snippet’ of info to show visitors the importance of saving water and co2, and how this can save them money. lumpy lemon also designed the logo to be used on all the business materials.
beautiful, fairly-traded jewellery photographed for oxfam’s catalogues and advertisements. our studio shots were then also used in pre-christmas publicity, in-store displays and other promotional materials.
an oxford-based landscape design practise, we designed and developed topio’s website (topio.co.uk) that uses our powerful content management system. this allows it to be easily expanded and updated without the need for a webmaster. in addition to this, we worked on the business stationery and provided design and print consultancy services.
transitionculture.org is the personal blog of rob hopkins, one of the founders of the rapidly-spreading transition towns movement. his wordpress-powered blog was looking a bit dated so he asked us to completely redesign the entire site from the ground up. we developed several wordpress plugins to display the wide range of information on the site, and used open source software to improve the performance. around 1500 people visit the site daily, many of them getting involved & leaving comments.
martin stott is a busy man! he’s head of environment and resources at warwickshire county council, works for several charities, writes books, authors reports, and somehow finds time for photography and growing his own veggies. martin-stott.com was developed to bring together all his writings and information on his work and interests into one easy to use, clear, website.
