ArtRage on Steam
Hi all,
We're happy to announce that ArtRage Studio Pro is now available for purchase from the Steam Store. We've had a few questions sent to us about various issues so here are a couple of things you might want to know:
1. Mac Version.
The Mac build for Steam is ready and as soon as the service launches on OS X we should be in there. We intend to follow the standard Steam model for cross platform licensing (which, coincidentally, is the same model we use directly) - If you have purchased the product you will be able to download and use it on both Windows and Mac OS X from a single license.
2. Serial Numbers.
Rather than requiring a Serial Number for the Steam product we are using Steam's built in licensing control. We intend to allow existing customers who have a serial number to register their product on Steam but I don't know when that will be available at this point, we're currently looking in to it.
3. Member Area & Updates.
If you have purchased the product on Steam you don't need to register it in our Member Area, updates and downloads will be available directly from your Steam client.
