About
The goal of “Earned Lessons” is to share information that individuals can use to make their companies better. These lessons come from the experiences that I have had as I transitioned from an individual contributor, to a manager, to an executive.
To that end I will try to keep the focus of this blog constrained to the things that I think make for a successful company.
- Customer Joy — Customers are the lifeblood of a company. The more you create joyful experiences the more you are likely to grow.
- Employee Success — Your employees should be given the support to make them successful. Where resources are difficult to come by they should be capable of creating alternatives that makes the company succeed.
- Investor Wealth — Your investors should see great returns on their investment from backing an organization that is able to set a good price, create demand, sell the product, and have vision for larger growth.
The ideal is if you can be a customer, employee and investor in a successful company.
The views and opinions expressed in this blog are that of my own and not my employer.
