About Me
Hello and welcome to my blog! I write about the things that happen in my family life along with my own struggles and journey of getting better in touch with myself. I would love for you to laugh and cry along with me and maybe we both will learn a thing or two about life.
I’m a pretty average chick. Live day-to-day as a wife, mom and step mom. I also work part-time from home. I am loyal and caring, objective and empathetic. I am logical and emotional. I speak fluent sarcasm and will do or say just about anything for a laugh. I think of myself as a sarcastic goofball with my heart on my sleeve.
Our house is cluttered and full of life. We are always busy and trying to keep up with life as it flies by. There is never enough time in the day for everything and we try hard to make room for as much as we can.
My husband, “Hubby”, is the best in the world. He doesn’t quite understand my love of social media but he tries not to roll his eyes too often. He spends a lot of time working around our house, improving this and that. There is always a new project to work on but we all enjoy the results.
I have 3 wonderful stepsons, E, R and C. I’ve been a part of their lives for a long time. E is about to head off to college so I am in denial in order to keep from crying about it. I can’t believe he has grown up so much. R is in high school and a basketball star. C is in middle school and also quite an athlete. I am so proud of my boys and privileged to be their step-mom.
We also have a son, T, and daughter, A. T is a second grader and quite possibly smarter than any of us. He is so observant and has a passion for understanding everything. A is in first grade and is our social butterfly. She could walk into a room full of kids and walk out leaving a room full of best friends.
In 2011, we lost our oldest furry kid, Meg. She was my first baby and I miss her dearly. We have two Samoyeds, Sammy and Willow. They are the most active dogs I have ever met in my entire life. Their favorite word is “play”.
I never considered myself much of a writer but I really enjoy sharing my stories with my internet buddies (however few or many there may be). My family can read about our antics and I can touch the lives of strangers. It really is quite cool.
