Dogsledding at Snow Mountain Ranch

Do you dream of yelling “Mush!” to your team of huskies in the blinding snow while on the trail of the Iditarod? Live out a (scaled-down) version of your dream by dog sledding at Snow Mountain Ranch this winter!

When: Thursday mornings and Saturday mornings
Note: Our guide, Steve Petersen, will be unavailable Saturday, March 16. Sled rides that week will be on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15.

Where: Sign up in advance at the Program Building. Guests can sign up as far as a week in advance by calling 970-887-2152, ext. 4135. If you call, you must pay over the phone via credit card to hold your spot.

How Much: $15 per person or $25 for two people on the sled

The ride is roughly 2 miles long, starting from the Library. Our guide, Steve Peterson, will offer a 45 minute presentation on dog sledding before he begins rides.
