“It’s hard to categorize Lauren Weedman. Her eclectic body of work, spanning theatre, film, television, and memoir, has led to a delightfully bizarre notoriety”.
I like that quote. It’s better than “she’s a greasy faced saggy titty crazy lady” like that guy on the YouTube message board said.  I cut out the part of the article where they discuss how as a professional theater artist who has written and performed over 7 full length solo shows including an Off-Broadway run of my very first show HOMECOMING.  My shows have been produced at The Seattle Rep, The Empty Space, ACT, Portland Center Stage, Studio Theater DC, Passages Theater, Boise Contemporary Theater and City Theater in Pittsburgh to name a few and have toured my shows around the United States for the past fifteen years.  I’ve been awarded The Alpert Award in the Arts Macdowell Fellowship and been nominated for a USA arts Award for my solo work.    My book “A Woman Trapped in a Woman’s Body” was named Kirkus review top 10 indie books of 2007. Which seems like a long time ago but thought I’d mention it since I’m bragging.

speaking of bragging…

Below is my Washington Post Review from BUST.
