A key component of the Saunders College of Business mission is to encourage and support the application of business learning to real world problems. Students gain experience working on actual company problems, while companies benefit from the insights and efforts of a disciplined and collaborative project consulting team.
Saunders actively solicits community and company projects for team and individual assignments. More robust projects are likely candidates for Executive MBA capstone students, while projects of more limited scope might be more appropriate for an MBA or senior undergraduate class assignment. Although most projects are completed as part of course requirements, Saunders also offers a consulting option that is not limited by the academic calendar and specific course requirements.
To submit a project for consideration, please download this form and email the completed form to EMBACapstone@saunders.rit.edu. All submissions will be reviewed and assigned to the appropriate program option for consideration.
Company project assignments are a common element of many undergraduate and graduate business classes. In these instances, the decision to assign a client project is instructor specific. There are also specific classes dedicated exclusively to consulting and client projects. See the following options for more information.
