May 30th 2011—Russ Canzler hit a go-ahead, three-run home run in the seventh inning to lead the Durham Bulls to a 7-4 win over the Columbus Clippers on Monday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The home run was Canzler's fifth of the season and the third of the game for the Bulls.

May 30th 2011—The Lead the Way Fund is excited to announce the first stop on the Lead the Way Fund Tour at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on May 31, 2011, Memorial Day Weekend, in Durham. Founded in 2007 in memory of Sgt. James J. Regan, Army Ranger and scholar-athlete at Duke who was killed in action while serving in northern Iraq, the Lead the Way Fund is the only non-profit organization whose sole mission is to raise funds, awareness and provide support for the families of fallen or disabled Army Rangers.

May 26th 2011—Reigning International League MVP Dan Johnson has accepted an assignment to Durham and is batting fourth in the Bulls lineup today as the Bulls take on the Toledo Mud Hens. Johnson was the fourth Durham Bull to win the award and third to play for the Bulls a year or more after winning.

He is the Durham Bulls third player to win the league's weekly award this year, following Justin Ruggiano (Batter) and Alex Torres (Pitcher).
