Last contests/Memorable sessions? The last contest I did was the Rob Machado Pro Jr. down in Seaside. I lost in the quarter finals, which was a bummer. My most memorable session would have to be when I was in Fiji last November. It was me, Holly Beck, Mary Osborne, Kaley Swift, and Jenny Flanigan. We were the only people out at this outer atoll spot. It was so amazing surfing in the middle of the ocean, on these perfect waves with only 4 other girls.
Favorite board? My 5'9" x 17 3/4" x 2" Bill Johnson. It's a thumb tail that just works so well in all conditions. It's a magic one, for sure!
Favorite surfers/heroes? My two favorite surfers would have to be Taylor Knox and Dane Reynolds. My heros would have to be
my mom & dad because they came from nothing and became very successful, and provided my two brothers and me with an amazing life!
When you're not surfing, you're... I am either playing guitar, training, drawing or hanging with my boy Ty and my best friends
Lexi, Dani, Bridgey and Theo.
Goals for the future? My biggest goal right now is to work hard toward a strong finish this season in the Pro Jrs and do well next year in the Women's Star events. Also just to always have fun and remember why I started surfing in the first place.
