Last Thursday, NJI Media President, Nathan Imperiale and his wife Louisa welcomed their baby girl to the world.

Isabella "Elle" Julia Imperiale officially made her appearance at 8:25pm EST. IJI weighed in at 7 pounds 8 ounces and measured 19 inches tall.

According to dad, mom and baby Elle did very well. They have already penciled-in their first spa day together. As for dad, he's ecstatic and looking forward to spoiling his brand new daughter.

In honor of Elle, the NJI team popped a few bottles of champagne this morning. We also changed the signature NJI blue logo to pink. Let's be honest,

NJI Media has officially moved and we're excited to show off our new digs!

After moving last week and taking some time to set up the shop, we were able to throw a friends and family happy hour last night to christen the new space because nothing says home like clinking glasses (but don't worry, there will be more parties). However, it is still a little hard to believe that we're actually here; it feels a little like the first day of school each time we walk in. New classroom, fresh school supplies, but still the same great crew - just

NJI Media Does Social Media Week NYC

What does bourbon infused chocolate have to do with digital media? Nothing, but I almost ate a whole brick of it at NYC Social Media Week’s opening night party. Oh, and I washed it down with Brooklyn Brewery beer, which was flowing and kept the crowd talkative when they weren’t chowing down on Whole Foods hot dogs.

So, here we are with digital content about non-traditional digital products. This is how brands are winning new customers—content. Why am I talking about bourbon infused chocolate? Not only is the product delicious, but also I know my friends like

What We Learned at NY Tech Meetup

There are a few things New York does right: moving people efficiently through the city, baking pizza, and organizing technology events. At the February New York Tech Meetup, there was a camera crew, a sold out venue with over 600 techies, and a volunteer team to keep the programming on time. This being a tech event, you can see what went down here courtesy of MLBAM and you can follow along on Twitter @NYTM.

We heard from a wide range of companies—from real time data crunching with MotarData to an OkCupid

February's always bittersweet here at NJI Media, we have to finally take down the Christmas tree.  But the holidays don't have to end yet! Valentine's Day is a holiday, right? More on that in a minute.

Just over a month ago, we were giddy with the holiday spirit. The panda went out and surprised our clients with gift bags, and good cheer was rampant in the office. The U.S. Travel Association and the Institute for Energy Research joined in on the fun, and panda sightings were reported far and wide.

Thanks #NJIMedia for spreading holiday cheer in our office

Hundreds of millions of websites feed us every day with limitless information and powerful tools. Neat. Incredibly, about one of every six are powered by the same publishing engine: Wordpress. Matured from a simpler blogging platform, Wordpress is today a powerful open source content management system, with a wealth of add-on features . If you Internet, you Wordpress, whether you know it or not.

If you could slice into the Wordpress tree today , you would find ten rings. Or nine? I'm not a dendrochronologist. The point is, developers have

Why I Like Taco Bell

There is never a content update that Taco Bell makes that I don’t either like, retweet, or share because the voice of the brand connects with how I identify myself as a person—a devil may care attitude uniquely tailored for the young professional. Now, I may be giving a Mexican fast food joint too much credit, but their social media campaigns offer two valuable insights into how to breathe life into brand.

The primary reason for my dedication to the brand involves the personal level of engagement it cultivates with its friends and foes within its community. As you will see
