| Dear Karbon, Some Cosmo Friends of mine had told me about you and your column. I was hoping that you would help me get my mom's lantern back. Over 30 years ago, I was listening to some signals from your planet earth. They were inviting a bunch of us to your planet, promising to give us a 'swell time'. (Ha - was that a joke!) After hearing this, I thought - " why not." So .. I grabbed dad's sports craft , mom's lantern , picked up my Pleidian Sweetie and off to Earth we went. I figured I would start the evening off with a nice romantic lantern lit dinner in this little lake outside of KarbonDale, Pranksilvania. Just as I was opening up a vintage bottle of Venusian Rapture 00110, we heard ping pang sounds coming from outside the craft. A bunch of crazy humans had surrounded the pond and one of these strange looking creatures started shooting at us. We barely escaped with our lives, leaving dad's craft and mom's lantern behind. . Although the craft was taken by your military I had heard that someone in Karbon Dale may still have the lantern . This lantern holds sentimental value and we would like it back. I have heard from some friends on Planet Serpa that not all humans are bad - especially those with red hair. Since you have the reddest hair I have ever seen, I was hoping you might help me. When the Karb lady takes the kat into her home she soon realizes ....This is No Ordinary Kat.. But ... A KAT CREATED WITH EXPLODING FUR BALLS! Fortunately for the Karb Lady the 'shad detectives' combined IQ is comparable to Dumb and Dumber. Instead of going off with a bang, the kat now walks around the house making these small popping sounds and fizzles.
