spacer HBO president and COO, Eric Kessler, announced yesterday that the HBO Go TV Everywhere service is now compatible with Apple’s AirPlay.

The update means that Apple users with the HBO Go app can now stream content from the premium programmer straight from their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch to their HDTV using Apple TV.

Kessler made the announcement at an All Things D conference in the US.

He added that HBO content will be made directly available via the Apple TV box, but did not indicate a timescale for introducing that service.
