Units
The University of Oxford is home to six Clinical Trials Units (CTUs) which are specialist units, set up with the specific remit to design, conduct, analyse and publish clinical trials and other well-designed studies. Each has been certified by the UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC), which recognises that the CTUs are capable of centrally coordinating multi-centre clinical trials to a required, high standard. Crucially, these separate units come together to form the consortium that is Oxford Clinical Trials, in order to share facilities and ideas.
