The University of Montana’s Athletic Training Education Program was among the first in the nation and our leadership in the field continues today.
As a student in the new master’s degree program at UM, you’ll:
- Develop the critical thinking, decision-making and communication skills necessary for success in athletic training, allied health care, and other professions
- Benefit from a rigorous program that will prepare you to sit for the BOC examination
- Gain extensive, hands-on experience at various clinical education sites including colleges, high schools, sports and physical therapy clinics
- Enjoy a low student-to-faculty ratio while learning from a range of allied and medical health care professionals
Option 1: A five-year program in which students earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance and a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.
Option 2: A two-year master’s program designed for students who already have a baccalaureate degree.
