Owner Referral Reward Program: As a Westgate Resorts owner you may be eligible to receive benefits for pre-registered, qualified referrals that purchase a timeshare during a sales presentation at a Westgate Resorts property. An owner can only be eligible for a reward if both the owner’s account(s) and the referral’s account(s) are in good standing with no past due mortgage payments or maintenance and tax payments. Any independent advertising or promotions to produce qualified referrals are strictly prohibited.
Qualified Referral: A qualified referral is a married or cohabitating couple with a verifiable annual household income of $50,000 USD for U.S. Citizens/Residents and $60,000 USD for Canadian and U.K. Citizens/Residents excluding any income derived from unemployment, alimony, child support, or disability. (Minimum requirement may be higher and other qualifications may vary, based on destination and season of travel). Qualified participants are individuals between the ages of 28-70 who must attend a 90-minute discovery tour and sales presentation of Westgate Resorts, LTD during their initial stay. If married, cohabitating or engaged, both individuals must attend presentation together and present a valid major credit card, no pre-paid cards accepted. Guest must have a valid credit card with an available credit line to hold resort security deposit and taxes upon check-in. If married or cohabiting, both parties must provide proof of matching addresses by either a valid photo identification or another form of government issued identification. All qualified participants must speak English fluently, if traveling to Orlando; English, Spanish, or Portuguese fluently. Current Westgate owners may qualify for certain promotions if the above criteria has been met and are in good standing. Failure to qualify and attend the sales presentation will result in a surcharge of the difference between the discounted vacation package price and the full rental rate based on destination and season of travel plus the retail rate of any discount attraction tickets that were included in the vacation package. In addition, Guest must have a FICO score of 600 or higher as reported by Experian at the time the Guest arrives at the resort. In the event Guest has a FICO score of less than 600, Guest may be offered an alternative product.
To be considered a qualified registered referral of an owner, the owner must pre-register the referral and provide the following information: current name, address, phone number and e-mail address (if applicable), and spouse’s name (if applicable). All qualified referrals’ contact information must be current and valid. If there is a duplication of a qualified referral between two participants, the first participant to register the referral in the program will receive the referral reward. Referral group reservations for the same property are prohibited. Participation in this program and submission of a qualified referral constitutes permission for Westgate to use your name when contacting your qualified referral(s).
Qualified Referral Sale: If a qualified referral, submitted and pre-registered by you, meets the qualifications of this program and purchases a timeshare interest during their initial sales presentation, you may be eligible to receive compensation. There is no reward eligibility for a referral that enters into a Vacation Occupancy Agreement (rental program). Subsequent purchases from qualified referrals do not entitle the referrer to additional rewards. If referral has already toured or already purchased prior to the owner referring them, then no reward will be awarded for that referral.
Owner Referral Reward Payment: If eligible, reward payments may be made in the form of a company check for a dollar value or electronically loaded onto a preauthorized Visa® gift card where not prohibited by state restrictions, or payment may be applied to the maintenance & taxes or the mortgage account of an owner. referral.
- Account must be 45 days or older to be eligible for a reward
- Rewards can only be claimed for up to one year
Reward Scale:
- $400 — Sales Volume greater or equal to $10,000
- $200 — Sales Volume less than $10,000
- $150 — Any sale made to Travel Club
These Owner Referral Reward Program terms and conditions are subject to change at any time in Westgate Marketing, LLC’s sole and absolute discretion without notice. The Owner Referral Reward Program is void where prohibited by law.
