Who is Your Adviser?
Students should meet with their academic adviser prior to registering for courses; freshmen are required to do so, as are some majors. If you’re new to NMU and don’t know who your adviser is, you can find out here.
spacer Commencement Information
If you are graduating in December, congratulations! You can stay abreast of commencement information, such as  rehearsal time, at www.nmu.edu/commencement. You'll need to order your cap and gown via the NMU Bookstore by mid-October. Whether you're participating in the ceremony or not, don’t forget to register for graduation with the appropriate code, if you haven't already done so during course registration.

Northern Michigan University uses a student's NMU e-mail account as its primary means of communicating official university business, including legally required information as a condition of enrollment.
