In 2012, SeekersHub Global served over 10,000 students through its online and on-ground facilities in Sydney and Toronto. Our commitment to Knowledge Without Barriers (KWB) meant that we served all of these students with high quality Islamic educational offerings for absolutely FREE- ensuring access to relevant and reliable traditional knowledge for everyone.

We know we have to improve and do things even better, and for that I need your help and support.

A STORY TO SHARE

Let me share with you a true story which has been unfolding for the past few months, which came to a beautiful beginning only a few days ago as I send this to you, to explain why I need your help.

A few days ago, in Melbourne, I met a brother from country Australia (what we call ‘true blue Aussie’), who, by Guidance from God The Exalted, accepted Islam. This brother, who had been an atheist (or an agnostic, in my opinion), has been researching Islam, is poor, and does not have money easily accessible to him. In researching Islam, and wanting to learn more, he realised that courses and books on Islam were not within his budget at all, and simply could not study Islam at the more important level of understanding it without having money to afford such knowledge!

He had given up for over a year, but then trying his luck on the internet, he searched for free Islamic information. He stumbled upon Knowledge Without Barriers provided by SeekersHub Global (which, as you know, has been known as SeekersGuidance). He later told me, ‘I could not believe my eyes that such important courses were provided for free for a poor soul like me.”

He chose to study in one of my classes (he did not know me at the time, nor did I know him) - “Seeking Allah: Imam Muhasibi’s Treatise of the Seekers of Guidance Explained” - out of his own choice. After taking this course for free in the final term of 2012, he came to the firm conviction that Islam is the truth of the Word of God, and decided to contact me. We began a series of wonderful hand-written letter, and phone conversations like pen pals, that by the time we met for the first time, it felt as if we knew each other for such a long time.

He gave his Shahada only when I got there (he wanted me to personally witness his Shahada; it was an honour), facilitated through the noble and selfless work of SeekersHub Global through its commitment to remove barriers between Seekers and Guidance. By maintaining high quality education about Islam FREE, people are turning to Islam, as well as living it as Muslims.
This example is not a one-off and your support and assistance is no small matter; it is not only significant with all of us at SeekersHub Global, it is assuredly most significant with God Almighty.

SeekersHub Global has grown manifold, Alhamdulillah. But with growth comes added responsibility, and we are committed to continue to improve our capabilities to provide better-quality services for Islamic Education as well as Humanitarian services.

HOW YOU CAN HELP FURTHER

In order for us to make such improvements which are critically needed, we are making a global call to all of you and all our friends to:

1. Please donate to our Capacity Building efforts to improve our on-ground and online facilities. Donate here.
2. Share our Donations Page with as many of your contacts, encouraging them to make either a monthly or a one-off donation, as small as they can afford, to as large as they wish.
3. To promote this important initiative via your social media contacts, supporting this crucial collective effort we are all making to make sure people thirsty for knowledge of Islam are able to be nourished.
4. Repeat the above at least once a week, and if not, then every fortnight for the next 8 weeks, please. Commitment from us all, and reminders for others, is Prophetic Advice.
5. In this blessed month of Rabi’ ul-Awwal, as you increase your salutations upon the Beloved Prophet of God, supplicate for the beneficial end of our effort to facilitate Sacred Knowledge to as many people around the world, and to be doing so with as much excellence we are blessed with by the Grace of God The Merciful.

How will your investment in SeekersHub Global be utilised? We are:

• On-boarding more qualified teachers, including teachers at the on-ground hubs;
• Supporting a number of advanced students to complete their studies, and in particular supporting the development of female scholarship;
• Increasing the number of teachers able to travel to visit and teach in person at various global communities working with us;
• Implementing seriously high-quality processes and best practices to provide professional and meaningful service;
• Developing a professional SeekersMedia project to develop high quality educational resources;
• Developing a highly interactive and resource-rich website; undertaking a major overhaul of our online Learning Management Systems to improve delivery of online courses.
