The 6th Annual UK Schools Computer Animation Competition

Since 24 September, 639 schools have registered (see the map on the right) — our most amazing launch ever!
Why register? Teacher registration is free and carries no obligation to submit any entries. We won’t share your details with anyone else, we promise. All registered teachers receive free colour A2-sized Animation13 posters for their schools (also downloadable).
- Closing date for entries: Friday 22 March 2013. Read the competition rules.
- Eligible software: Alice, Blender, Flash, KoolMoves, Scratch, Serif: Draw Plus, SWiSH Max4.
- Entries must be no more than 1 minute long. Key-frame animation only; stop-frame animation isn’t eligible.
- Animation13 Awards and Inspirational Computer Science Day: 12 July 2013. Registration is now open — full details of the day and how to register here.
Last year’s competition was bigger than ever, with over 870 entries from 180 schools. 58 students from 31 schools won prizes. Visit ANIMATION12Β to see all the winning entries, and photos from the Awards Day.
