- UD students are welcome to contact any UD faculty member in any department except Biological Sciences to inquire about undergraduate research and service-learning opportunities. (Follow instructions on the Biological Sciences Department’s undergraduate research web page for contacting Biological Sciences faculty.)
- Most ongoing faculty research and service-learning is described on departmental websites. Below are projects listed by faculty who have notified the Office of Undergraduate Research and Experiential Learning that they would particularly like to be contacted by interested undergraduates. On this site, a faculty project may be listed in more than one department if the project is appropriate for majors in each of the departments.
- Before you contact an individual faculty member who has never taught you in a class, you should be sure you have read the advice on this website for “Getting Started." Note especially that advisement about how to approach faculty researchers is available from the Office of Undergraduate and Experiential Learning (email undergradresearch@udel.edu to schedule an appointment).
