Coachella 2012 Photo Gallery

Goldenvoice's 12th installment of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was another huge success. For the first time Coachella was held over two weekends and doubled the number of attendees, while sharing identical lineups and set-times. Fans braved the 110-degree heat, and attendance was estimated between 80,000 to 85,000, with each day shattering previous records. Many of these sunbaked festival goers were drawn to the desert by the eclectic lineup, and were rewarded with many musical choices across the spectrum.

The Coachella Stage hosted the largest crowds of the weekend, including performances from Radiohead, The Black Keys, Bon Iver, and Santigold. There were also many other highlights from Feist and Florence and the Machine, to stunning technological spectacles like Amon Tobin's ISAM 3-D visual show. The most hyped performance of the weekend, with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and many special guests—including Eminem, 50 Cent, and the now infamous Tupac hologram—closed out the musical celebration.

Mix magazine had a front row seat to the festival; below you can see highlights from weekend performances in an online-only photo gallery by photographer Dave Vann.
