The Institute is home to several specialist Research Centres:
The Centre of Research in English (CORE)
The Centre of Research in Libraries, Information and Media (CERLIM)
The Centre of Research in World Cultures and Languages
The Politics Research Group (PRG)
The European Philosophy Group (EPG)
The Manchester Centre for Regional History (MCRH)
We are also currently developing new interdisciplinary Research Clusters including:
Manchester Metropolitan University Football Cluster (MMUFC)
Alongside its vibrant community of internationally recognised researchers the Institute convenes its own Graduate School, offering Research Degrees (PhD, MPhil and MA by Research) in all the above-listed disciplines.
Further details on the individual subject groups can be found by clicking the links in the menu on this page.
