At Context Creative, Cate works closely with our studio of graphic designers, copywriters, programmers and project managers. As the Director of Client Services, it is Cate’s job to ensure that projects meet and exceed client expectations. And just as importantly, Cate sees to it that all jobs hit the deadlines. To quote Steve Jobs, “Real artists ship.”

The ability to manage and deliver a number of significant projects simultaneously is integral to our offering, and indeed, counts for much of our true value to our clients.

Cate has often achieved the impossible – for example, for Toronto Hydro, marshalling the studio to deliver a complete conference package for 600 delegates at the Air Canada Centre which included a registration website, an email invitation campaign, live video streaming from the conference, print and electronic on-site signage and a complement of collateral materials – all within six weeks.

At any given time, Cate manages and watches up to 40 projects that could include building websites, integrating social media strategies and evaluating estimates from outside suppliers on behalf of our clients.

Before joining Context Creative, Cate was a project manager at Redwood Custom Communications where she was charged with all aspects of managing weekly email programs in multiple languages (French, Spanish, U.S. and Canadian English) and web projects for both Kraft and Procter & Gamble.

Cate was also a partner at Insync Creative, overseeing projects such as annual reports, direct mail, billboards, book jackets, ads, and corporate identity.

Although Cate is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with an Honours BA in English and History, we suspect that underneath it all, there lurks a degree in Psychology with majors in diplomacy and juggling.
