From time to time, readers have wanted to know something about my history and instead of writing something short and barely informative, I’ve added this section to present more in-depth answers.

“How did you get your start in computers? I mean, like, when was the first time you saw a computer and how did you start programming? What made you want to start doing that?”

I’ve named this article Press Start and it details the very earliest days of my career. I knew from the very first day I played a game that this is what I wanted to do with my life.

“John, I’d like to know the origins of Dangerous Dave and all the adventures he’s been on.”

“I’m playing Hyperspace Delivery Boy and I’m stuck. Can you help me out?”

I love this game, it’s an interesting action/adventure/puzzle game that Tom and I made. Someone named JadeDragon wrote a great walkthrough and I brought it over to my site. We used to have an amazing walkthrough on the Monkeystone site, but it’s been lost for years.
