Want Masterpiece Rodimus Prime but you don't have $200 dollars laying around? Good news! It has been revealed that a Hasbro variant of Takara's Masterpiece Rodimus Prime will hit the USA! He appears to include Targetmaster Offshoot (Firebolt), and does not include the trailer. From the packaging, he apppears to be Toys R' Us exclusive. Are his QC issues fixed? We don't know this yet. BotCon 2011 is just days away. As much news and press there it to report on the event, it is the toys that attract the most attention from fans and collectors who scramble to get these very limited edition action figures. With Transformers Animated as the series figure theme this year, the 2011 exclusives have quite literally blown out. At this point you've still got a number of options for hunting down those treasured robots.

The runtime for Transformers Dark of the Moon has been finalized and will clock in at 143 minutes. That translates to two hours and 23 minutes of your life that you need to plan around. The film is set to hit theaters worldwide (except China and Japan) on June 29, 2011 with the World Premiere set for Moscow on June 23rd. BotCon 2011 Hall of Fame attendees will get sneak peeks of scenes from Dark of the Moon, presented by Director Michael Bay.

Ever since the Transformers Dark of Moon Toys were released earlier this month, we have been reporting and reviewing the figures with impunity. When we posted a poll asking our readers to respond to the question "How do you rate the Transformers DOTM figures overall?" Paramount has released new stills from the upcoming Transformers Dark of the Moon Movie. The images show a variety of scenes depciting the actors on set as well as the director Michael Bay on set. The new Transformers line targeted at children called Rescue Bots is coming out this July, and it is about time we got some official looks at the figures. Announced at Toy Fair, the line is set to launch in July 2011 and Entertainment Earth has posted official looks at the figures. The Mercedes-Benz E550 is not Brains, the administrator of Transformers Dark of the Moon Director Michael Bay's official website Shoot For the Edit clarifies, but the rumors that the character is named Wheeljack, as has been rumored, is not a sure thing, either. Posting on the official site's forums, Nelson writes "[f]or some time now, I've implied [original report here -ed] through some of my post[s] that Wheelie's sidekick was the Mercedes E550 (the E550 is a whole different character)." In one of the many leaks concerning the Transformers Dark of the Moon film, it was revealed that the character sporting the Ferrari 458 Italia as the alternate mode, would be named Mirage, however; this may not actually be the case. According to Nelson, the administrator of Director Michael Bay's official website "Shoot For the Edit," the character will be "named after a famous Italian" and "speaks with an Italian accent." So which one is right? Nobody (outside of the film's production) knows for sure the name of the Ferrari character, but this reminds us of Transformers. Read more.

Were you worried that your Transformers Collectors Club exclusives Transtech Cheetor and the completely-sold-out Generation 2 Ramjet were going to sit at your front door while you were in Pasadena, CA for BotCon 2011? Fun Publications is putting that worry to the wayside, announcing that they will not ship the exclusives that you ordered until after the convention ends on June 5, 2011. The BotCon 2011 convention is scheduled to begin this Thursday, June 2 and will run until the Sunday, on June 5th. Fun Publications will announce their club exclusives for the 2012 year at their 3:00 PM panel on Saturday in Ballroom D.

Jolt only got a blip of screen time in the last movie, but had 2 versions in toy form. Both version featured a robot mode that was short on style but big on articulation.
