Teknon Campus

The Centro Médico Teknon facilities, which opened in 1994, cover more than 65,000 square feet. The Centro Médico Teknon campus is divided into eight major interconnected areas and there is direct access from the 1,000 space parking garage below. They are interconnected and there is direct entry from the 1,000 parking spaces located in the centre:

• Hospitalization. We offer bright rooms with air conditioning, television and all required medical equipment. The health centre is equipped with:

- 230 single private rooms
- 19 suites
- 10 incubators

• The Surgical Area has 20 operating theatres equipped with the latest technologies. Over 20,000 surgical operations are performed each year.
• The Day Hospital enables patients to stay at the hospital for treatment during the day and return home at night. It is equipped with 42 rooms.
• The Intensive Care Unit has 14 cubicles for both children and adults.
• The Health Centre consists of more than 400 doctors who cover all medical and surgical specialities for adults and children. All services are interconnected through internal circuits that are exclusive for patient use. The Health Centre is made up of the following:

- 2 buildings with 96 doctor's offices
- Direct connection with main building
- Direct entry from the parking garage

• In the Diagnostic Services Area up to 130,000 diagnostic tests are performed yearly. This Department is divided into the following sub areas:

- Diagnostic Imaging
- Laboratory
- Other additional tests

• Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It has a team of outstanding professionals and state-of-the-art technology to respond quickly, effectively and safely to the average of 300 emergency cases treated by Centro Médico Teknon every day.
• Instituto Oncológico Teknon (IOT) was opened on 18th October, 2000. It offers comprehensive health care for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
• Instituto Cardiovascular Teknon (ICVT) is an integrated organisation for the study, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
