Once in a while we give authors and smaller publishers a chance to sponsor a day of Unshelved at special rates. Just such an event is coming up in July. If you'd like to promote your book(s) to the world's librarians, you could do worse than our little comic strip, and in fact you would have a hard time doing better.

Matt Upson, former Director of Library Serices at the McPherson College's Miller Library, and library student/writer/comic artist Matt Hall created this awesome zombie guide to the Miller Library and its resources featuring both the living dead and library tutorials. It's fun, unique, and, even better, they're interested in creating customized guides for other libraries. They can be contacted at cmichaelhall@cox.net and matthewupson@gmail.com.
Can you believe ALA is less then a month away? This week's sponsor, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, is here to make sure we don't forget. They've got a full schedule of author signings at booth #1129, get the full details here!
My sister lives in New Orleans, so you'd think our upcoming experience of ALA would be the cheapest and most convenient EVER. Well, she is putting is up. But her neighborhood is such that we can't safely send her the many boxes of books and merchandise we hope to sell at the conference. Perhaps you can help.
We've got about a dozen boxes that need a temporary home. We'll send them to over the next few weeks via USPS, and hopefully you can take delivery more securely than she. We'll swing by to pick them up the morning of June 23 (but bonus points if you can also drive them to the convention center).
In reward we will publicly thank you, give you your selection of our merchandise, and a free exhibits badge to ALA. Want to help? Drop me a line.
Update: Volunteer found, thanks for all the offers!
