Created and sustained by the people of the Four Corners region, the Durango Arts Center promotes the exploration, education, enrichment and enjoyment of the arts.  Located in downtown, The Arts Center has become the hub for cultural innovation in southwest Colorado, allowing visitors to enjoy the visual arts, theater, dance, live music, education programs for children and adults and many other activities for all ages.

 

 

 

 

 

spacer The Durango Discovery Museum invites guest to get in and geek out. As the Four Corners’ and Durango’s hands-on, interactive science center for all ages, the museum offers a dynamic new space for family adventure and exploration, school field trips, early childhood learning, and special events. The museum opened in February 2011 in Durango’s historic and historical Powerhouse (aka the Pow) with a mission to “spark curiosity, ignite imagination, and power exploration.”

 

 

 

 

The Community Concert Hall is a not-for-profit, multi-use performance venue located on the campus of Fort Lewis College.  Presenting artists from all over the world, the Concert Hall also serves as the home of many local performing arts organizations and the Fort Lewis College Music Department. Serving 50,000 patrons per year, the mission of the Concert Hall’s presenting program is to support artists who reflect the tastes of the region while educating college and regional audiences about cultures and performance traditions from throughout the United States and the rest of the world.
