Join Junkies Nation in helping our walker get ready for her walk to help Fight Breast Cancer through the Avon Foundation. Junkies Nation is proud to be part of the fight against breast cancer and we hope that you join us with a small donation.
Our walker is committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It’s a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. But breast cancer is a big disease, one that still affects far too many people, and she is determined to do everything she can to help put an end to it.
This walk is being dedicated to her mother, a breast cancer survivor.
The money she raises will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those who most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. She’ll be just one of thousands of people who will walk up to 39.3 miles over two days, raising awareness promoting education.

This week, the good folks at Trion shared with us a video showing a number of weapons, their modifications, and just how lethal your new favorite gun can be. One major highlight for me is the Rocket Launcher with the Rebounder Cannon attachment/modification. As seen in the video, this combination allows the wielder of this powerhouse to fire a rocket into the air, which will subsequently air-burst and send a number of explosive rounds into the ground. Unknown at the time is whether or not the weapon will have the same effect if fired into a hard surface (i.e. a wall), but based on the name we are hoping this is the case.

If you’ve been following Defiance’s online EGO system, there’s a good chance you’re already familiar with Arkfall codes and their importance. If not, here’s the scoop: On the official Defiance game site, if you sign up to become an Ark Hunter (register for a free account basically), you gain the ability to access your personal EGO (Environmental Guardian Online). The EGO system in Defiance is an AI implant, essentially, that gives our characters special powers and passive abilities that we can completely customize.
Now, as a part of the countdown to Defiance’s launch, Trion has been sneakily hiding Arkfall codes in sneak preview videos, websites, and other sources of information online. Prospective Ark Hunters can enter these Arkfall codes and gain special in-game benefits once the game goes live. We’re talking bonuses like extra inventory slots, special titles, and extra weapon skills. Pretty nifty, right?
