Join Junkies Nation in helping our walker get ready for her walk to help Fight Breast Cancer through the Avon Foundation. Junkies Nation is proud to be part of the fight against breast cancer and we hope that you join us with a small donation.
Our walker is committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It’s a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. But breast cancer is a big disease, one that still affects far too many people, and she is determined to do everything she can to help put an end to it.
This walk is being dedicated to her mother, a breast cancer survivor.
The money she raises will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those who most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. She’ll be just one of thousands of people who will walk up to 39.3 miles over two days, raising awareness promoting education.
She can’t do this without your help, please donate now.

This week we have some fun discussing some post drama shenanigans with Aneu, GM of VotF and AGM Evoex of LotD. Along with our discussion about the ascendance of Blackgate and the downfall of Sea of Sorrows we discuss the future of the game and touch a little on ArcheAge.
We get a short update today as Zenimax releases some lore and a short clip of the Dreugh, a creature from the Elder Scrolls.
Meet the dreugh, a creature that some of you may recognize from previous Elder Scrolls games, including Morrowind and Oblivion. In The Elder Scrolls Online, members of the Ebonheart Pact will first encounter dreugh in Morrowind’s Stonefalls region.
The creation of monsters in The Elder Scrolls Online first begins with a combination of lore and concept art. Here’s some of the lore and concept art we started out with for the dreugh.
Find out more about the Dreugh on the official homepage which has more screens and concept art. Continue reading to watch the video.
As E3 ended last week, we had a ton of new interviews and outlooks of the game. Today we get one more from WebProNews’ gaming division as they give us their impression of the Elder Scrolls.
The leveling experience in an MMO takes a long time by design. For many players this can be the most frustrating part of an MMO, since many quests along the way are similar to ones already accomplished. Paul stated that The Elder Scrolls Online will operate differently, and try to break out of the fairly linear questing system most modern MMOs employ. Players will be encouraged to wander around the landscape, seeking adventure for themselves in true Elder Scrolls fashion. A compass, similar to the one seen in Skyrim, will direct players to content around Tamriel. There will also be quests that come to the player dynamically, instead of the player having to seek out a quest-giver. “You don’t have to go onto a quest path,” said Ryan. “You’re not on rails at all.”
One odd statement that Ryan made is that there can be up to 200 players “in the game at the same time.” This probably doesn’t mean a cap on the number of people allowed in one server. If that were the case, there would have to be thousands of individual servers, not to mention the fact that many established MMO guilds boast more than 200 members. Instead, Ryan is probably referring to the maximum number of players that will fit into one instance of the game.
You can read the full recounting here. Keep reading if you’d like to watch the Game Trailers teaser trailer.
More news today from CVG.com when they interview Nick Konkle, lead gameplay and combat designer for TES Online.
Asked last week what players can expect from Zenimax Online Studios’ upcoming MMORPG, which expands the kingdom of Tamriel into the online arena, he said:
“I think what you’re are going to find is both the Elder Scrolls lore that you’re familiar with, but really brought into a new setting, this online space.“You should be really comfortable with what you find there. It’s a game that’s accessible to anyone. It isn’t the slower paced combat from the previous generation of MMOs. We’ve really tried to make it feel responsive, tactical, and action-packed, which is what I think a Skyrim player might expect from this type of game.”

In case you were lost or not paying attention in the last month, Gameinformer was the first to break the silence about The Elder Scrolls Online with a series of interviews and articles with all the developers at Zenimax. Since then they have created a huge hub of media interviews, screenshots and more. You can find the full hub by following this link.
If you are looking for a great place to start, this interview with Paul Sage is a great place to start.
Paul Sage is working on his dream project. As a rabid fan of the Elder Scrolls series, Paul finally has a chance to help craft the land of Tamriel. The only downside is that every other fan of the series is eager to critique his work. Game Informer’s Adam Biessener sat down with Paul Sage to talk about his past, how he plans to convert the Elder Scrolls that everybody knows and loves into an MMO, and how he plans on luring fans of the series into the competitive world of player versus player. To learn more about Paul’s past MMO experience and how he got his start at Origin Systems working on the Ultima franchise
You can watch the full interview here.
