Kelsey Nixon: The Are You Cook Aware? Moderator Kelsey led the discussion and shared her passion for the basics in the kitchen. Currently she is the host of the Cooking Channel series Kelsey’s Essentials, where she showcases tips, tools, and techniques that no home cook should be without.

Lauren Braun Costello is the host of AOL’s hit cooking series Pantry Challenge, food stylist and a culinary producer for national and local television broadcasts.       Rovenia Brock, PhD, is a renowned nutritionist, the author of Dr. Ro’s Ten Secrets to Livin’ Healthy, and an award-winning health journalist and television personality.       Joscelyn Ramos Campbell is the founder and editor-in-chief of Mami of Multiples and also cohosts the popular Chicas Chatting Blog Talk Radio Show.       Janice Newell Bissex, MS, RD, is a nutrition consultant and coauthor of the award-winning cookbooks No Whine with Dinner: 150 Healthy, Kid-Tested Recipes from The Meal Makeover Moms and The Moms’ Guide to Meal Makeovers: Improving the Way Your Family Eats, One Meal at a Time!   Kantha Shelke, PhD, is a food scientist and principal at Corvus Blue LLC, a Chicago-based food science and research firm. She recently contributed to The Oxford Encyclopedia of Food and Drink in America and completed a book entitled The Global Culinary History of Pasta.
