Book

Update March 1, 2013: The book manuscript is off to the publisher! Whew! Now to start building the web content.

Based on the research Stephanie conducted in her dissertation, her book Presenting Data Effectively: Communicating Your Findings for Maximum Impact will be published in 2013. Stephanie is thrilled that the title will be released by Sage Publications, a top academic publisher.

Presenting Data Effectively is about how to better design our reports, slideshows, research posters, and graphs. It begins and ends with the science of communication and a grounded discussion of how the brain takes in and retains information. That critical, research-based foundation informs all of our choices about how we present data. With her signature style that combines research with humor and a ton of examples and practical guidance, Effective Data Presentation is a resource for anyone interested in using data to communicate.

Available for preorder on Amazon in April 2013
