Aging Infrastructure Systems Center of Excellence

spacer

The Aging Infrastructure Systems Center of Excellence (AISCE) employs a multi-disciplined approach to mitigate and reverse the effects of aging on the nation's public and private sector infrastructure through the development, dissemination, and application of intelligent command and control systems (IC&C). The IC&C systems research focuses on data-intensive model-based processes, tools and techniques that focus on both system-level system-wide and project-level life extensions to infrastructure systems (i.e., transportation, structural, energy, environmental systems, information technology, telecommunication, military, service, manufacturing, aerospace, and healthcare management systems). Emphasis is placed on deliberate methodical and organized approaches to prolonging infrastructure life and performance through systematic cross-industry application of engineered processes and techniques.

Vision
The AISCE Vision is to be the Premier Think-Tank/Research Center for Infrastructure Asset Life-Extension through Systematic Application of Engineered Processes and Techniques

Mission
The AISCE Mission is to Mitigate and Reverse the Effects of Age on the Nation’s Public & Private Sector Infrastructure through the Development, Dissemination, and Application of Intellectual Property

To Accomplish its Vision & Mission, the AISCE is a Partnership Among Governmental Agencies, Commercial Organizations and Universities.
