Sprout Social and UserVoice have joined forces to create a simpler way to integrate social media and support! Your social media team can seamlessly create, track and resolve tickets from the Sprout Social application, keep both systems in sync and let your customer support team focus on what they do best.

How to Connect UserVoice to Sprout Social

While you are logged into Sprout Social, click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select ‘Helpdesk Integration’.

Once on the integrations screen, locate UserVoice and click the ‘Connect’ button. This will start the authorization process.

Enter your UserVoice URL and click ‘Continue’ to proceed to UserVoice authorization. (This is the public web address that should look something like this: yourcompany.uservoice.com.)

When the new ticket is created, Sprout Social and UserVoice will stay in sync to keep both teams up to speed on the status of the support ticket.

How to Create Helpdesk Tickets in Sprout Social

  • 1. Click the task icon on any message to assign the item to a team member.
  • 2. After you click on the icon, you will be in the ‘New Task’ section. Simply click the Helpdesk checkbox at the top of your team list and the task will also become a UserVoice support ticket when the new task is saved.

3. Once the new ticket is created, Sprout Social and UserVoice will stay in sync to keep both teams up to speed on the status of the support ticket.
