Tightening the Scientific Understanding of the Belts
IN THE PREDAWN HOURS of August 24, after more than a dozen years from concept to creation, the twin Radiation Belt Storm Probes will rocket into the harsh environment of Earth's Van Allen radiation belts to probe their inner workings as never before. Geospatial Science Gets a Space of its Own

FOR TEN YEARS, Michael Routhier has taught a one-week, non-credit course on Geographical Information Systems, GIS for short.
