Staging The Shingles For Your Roof Project

Staging shingles is one minor step that you can do to save time and effort if you are thinking about reroofing your home. To most of your roofing Denver companies that is a step that just comes naturally to them because it is a daily process and they have a system in place. Your local Denver roofing companies have been in business for a long time roofing homes and through the years and pretty much make a roof replacement job seem very easy. You will need to carry the roofing shingles up the ladder so make sure you have a back brace to help with this laborious job. It could be as many as 50 bundles each of which weighs over 60lbs, that a lot of lifting. Using the first two bundles, lay them flat on the roof to form a base. You will need a roof jack in place to hold the initial two bundles from slipping off the roof. Once you have formed the base you can start stacking subsequent bundles partially over lapping the base bundles. You will want to make several stacks in a couple of different locations to distribute the weight and to also cause you not to have to move the bundles twice. Only stack about 12 bundles to every location. You can also ask your product provider if they can unload the shingles on the roof for you instead of having to do that piece of this large project yourself.
